Summary
We are seeking an Accountant to join our dynamic and growing accounting operations team. You will work closely with the Accounting Operations team members, especially team leads and Accounting Managers that will provide you with on the job training, mentorship and career navigation. You will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for certain consolidated balance sheet and income statement accounts (e.g. accounts receivable, reserve for bad debt, revenue, property taxes, etc.). Your role within a large publicly traded company will provide you exposure and the opportunity to gain experience in SEC-related functions and access to cross functional teams within the corporate function (i.e. marketing, sales, corporate development, IT, Legal, HR, etc…)
This role will be a critical valued member of the accounting and finance organization, with a broad set of responsibilities that will build both soft skills as well as a wide range of technical accounting skillsets. The successful candidate will have a solid foundation of general accounting concepts and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment. A “roll-up-your sleeves” mentality, strong problem solver and collaborator skillset is key.
