The Opportunity
We are actively seeking to add an IL Administrator to our team. As the IL Administrator of a Five Star location, you will support the Executive Director (ED) by managing day-to-day functions of the independent living resident services area of the community. The IL Administrator will provide non-clinical support and services to our residents. You will report directly to the Executive Director.
What You’ll Do
Communication And Planning
· Plans, develops, organizes, implements and evaluates the community’s independent residents services programs.
· Develops and implements policies and procedures for IL residents depending on residents’ social, psychological and physical needs and desires.
· Coordinates resident activities; advocates resident independence throughout all programming
· Coordinates all resident supplemental services with outside vendors
· Ensures and improves resident satisfaction by investigating and mitigating all resident concerns.
· Coordination of independent resident needs throughout all community leadership departments.
· Assists residents in transition within the community and outside, maintaining confidentiality at all times.

What You’ll Bring
Experience & Education
· Bachelor’s degree and Administrators license/certification per state requirements.
· 2+ years in previous experience in senior living
· Passion for working with seniors and their families
· Excellent interpersonal skills, and exceptional organizational skills
· Must be able to communicate effectively (written and oral form) in a care setting with residents, families, staff, representatives of community and state agencies.
