Summary:

Five Star Senior Living is seeking a versatile, digital and analytically focused Marketing Director who will play a pivotal role in helping to advance Five Star Senior Living’s standing as a national leader of living choice and life services for older adults throughout the US. You will report the VP Marketing & Brand and be a key member of the marketing leadership team.

The ideal candidate has demonstrable experience in:

  • Extensive omni channel expertise developing programs, optimize activity and engagement, analyze intelligence for consumer/professional relations demand and conversion
  • Deep expertise in marketing strategy and marketing intelligence and their interconnectivity
  • Extensive CRM (ideally salesforce) and marketing automation experience
  • Cross functional ability to integrate analysis tools to create meaningful intelligence capabilities
  • Oversee marketing software, auditing, consolidating and keeping team up to date on technology integration
  • Overseeing multiple company websites and marketing plans to assure functional and engagement success
  • Experience working with external agencies and internal teams and providing clear communication, setting priorities and accountability
  • Partnering with sales teams, call center on engagement funnel analysis, ongoing optimization, setting benchmarks and developing plans to support KPI’s

Our Director of Marketing will play an integral role in helping to shape and execute our marketing strategy, lead marketing intelligence, technology integration and optimization. You will embrace cross functional collaboration, working closely with external agencies, managing our internal marketing team, partnering with sales, revenue cycle management to help shape the success of optimizing cost/quality attracting leads, clearly identifying the key points in the marketing funnel, setting benchmarks and establishing KPI’s. You will optimize to assure we are engaging with efficiency and we are maximizing opportunities for growth. This role will require, hands-on leadership, the ability to seek the best in each team member, embracing collaboration. You will excellent skills to keep internal and external teams organized, running efficiently and goal driven.

Responsibilities:

The Director of Marketing will be responsible for supporting the strategy and leading the execution of the omni channel marketing plans for Five Star, Ageility and other ancillary products and services. You will lead cross functional analysis to support the growth of Five Star and ancillary partners. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Collaboratively developing the strategy and managing the marketing plans and execution for Five Star Senior Living, Ageility and other ancillary products and services.
  • Overseeing marketing intelligence overall, including: tools, connectivity, measurement and analysis to assure all marketing and sales efforts and driving most qualified/optimized leads, conversion points established, benchmarked with clear KPI’s developed, measured and monitored.
  • Overseeing the Five Star websites to assure best practices, ongoing competitive analysis, and functional adjustments to assure we are leading the industry.
  • Work collaboratively with the Content Development Director and team to assure omni channel efforts are connected, on brand and elevating Five Star’s marketplace position.
  • Oversee CRM integration, analysis of existing programs and lead the integration of updated CRM marketing software.
  • Oversee the planning, integration and plan development of marketing automation software
  • Manage relationships with third party marketing partnerships and continually access third party digital partnerships to help optimize spend, analysis and results
  • Work collaboratively with marketing research internal and external teams
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to drive consumer and professional demand, reviewing community budgets, spend and connectivity to our digital first, personalized approach to attracting and retaining customers.
  • Drive collaborative measures the consolidate approaches and maximizes each ‘touch’ to assure a meaningful connection.
  • Develop SMART KPIs that get internal buy-in and are used to guide ongoing omni channel improvements
  • Work closely with Content Director to identify tools to support the consumer journey, including personalization, across digital channels. This includes CRM/marketing automation, web personalization, targeted ad campaigns, and more
  • Utilize analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Console and/or similar products to appropriately track campaign effectiveness and suggest improvements
  • Collaborate with Content Director to determine overarching information architecture (IA) for the Five Star brand web properties.
  • Deep ongoing insight into competitive market engagement strategies to stay ahead of direct and indirect competition

Education/Experience/Requirements:

EDUCATION: Bachelors in Marketing/Communications/English/Digital (or related field): 10+ years in digital marketing and content development

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: • Strong team management and communication (written and verbal) skills • Willingness to seamlessly work across teams to share ideas, resources and expertise • Knowledge of analytics strategies, tools and analysis • Ability to guide, develop, and motivate team members • Solid writing and editing skills Basic understanding of HTML and web publishing • Content management systems such as Drupal and Kentico • CRM system experience Salesforce preferred • Marketing Automation software experience
