The Opportunity
This position is part of the Operations Team responsible for the creation of a work environment that supports the Five Star purpose of “partnering with families in meeting the challenges of life”.

What You’ll Do
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Answer and forward incoming calls, following up as needed to ensure callers receive answers to their questions.
  • Serve as the point of contact for Culture Club and other field centralized recognition programs for team members.
  • Conduct sales activities as requested by the Sales Director, including but not limited to following up on leads, tours, home visits, sales calls, maintenance of the Five Star CRM, coordinating with new residents, apartment readiness for new a smooth move-in process and other tasks to be prepared for events to increase traffic in the community.
  • Assist Executive Director as needed with invoicing, inventory, marketing, maintaining personnel and resident files.
  • Assist Culinary leader with ordering, invoicing and inventory.
  • Provide information about residence & services when Executive Director is not available.
  • Provide coverage for front desk team members during breaks, greets and assisting visitors (potential residents, sponsors, job applicants, etc.) with questions.
  • Maintain workers’ compensation files using established standards and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsibilities include general office administration, receptionist duties, department operations support, and customer service.
What You’ll Bring
POSITION REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Organizational skills to effectively meet competing priorities.
  • High school diploma with some college preferred.
  • Experience working with seniors preferred.
  • Proven computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and contact management software applications.
  • Excellent time, organization and priority management skills.
